The Northern California Fleet represents a distinguished collection of 33 classic power yachts—and growing—each embodying a unique chapter in maritime history.
Spanning from 1921 through 1972, our fleet showcases the evolution of classic yacht design—from refined pre-war craftsmanship to the bold and iconic styling of the mid-century era. These yachts reflect a time when quality materials, skilled shipwrights, and timeless design defined boatbuilding at its highest level.
Each vessel within the fleet is carefully maintained, thoughtfully restored, and actively cruised by its owner. From original preserved examples to extensively restored yachts, the fleet represents a wide spectrum of dedication to authenticity, functionality, and craftsmanship.
More than a collection, these yachts form a living, working fleet—regularly seen underway throughout the San Francisco Bay, the Delta, and beyond. Their presence on the water continues a tradition of classic yachting that is not only preserved, but actively experienced.
Historic Significance
Beyond their craftsmanship, several yachts within the fleet carry remarkable historical provenance. Over the decades, these vessels have played host to notable figures—including—but not limited to—celebrities, members of Congress, and international political dignitaries.
Some vessels of this era also answered the call to service during World War II, when privately built yachts were repurposed for coastal defense, including submarine patrols, transport, and support operations along the American shoreline and abroad.
