The Classic Yacht Association Northern California Fleet is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, created to better serve our members, prospective members, sponsors, and the wider classic yacht community throughout Northern California. The new website gives the fleet a central online home for news, events, cruise-ins, membership information, classic yacht photos, sponsor recognition, donations, merchandise, and updates from San Francisco Bay, the Delta, and beyond. As the Northern California Fleet continues to grow, this website will help us better share our mission of preserving, celebrating, and enjoying classic yachts. Our fleet represents a living connection to maritime history, craftsmanship, restoration, and fellowship on the water.
A New Online Home for Fleet News and Events
One of the most important features of the new website is the events section. Members and guests will now be able to find information about upcoming cruise-ins, yacht club gatherings, boat shows, fleet meetings, and special events in one convenient location. The website will also help improve communication before and after events by providing details, updates, registration information, and event recaps for members and friends of the fleet.
Sharing the History and Beauty of Classic Yachts
The new website includes a photo gallery hosted through our Instagram feed, allowing the Northern California Fleet to share classic yacht photos in a more active and accessible way. In today’s world of technology and social media, this connection helps us reach more people, showcase our vessels more frequently, and introduce a wider audience to the beauty, history, and craftsmanship of classic yachts. By sharing these yachts both on our website and through Instagram, we hope to strengthen our online presence while continuing to promote the preservation of classic design, traditional craftsmanship, and the boating heritage of Northern California.
Supporting Membership, Sponsors, and Community
The website also includes dedicated areas for membership, donations, merchandise, and sponsor recognition. These pages will help support the continued growth of the fleet while making it easier for people to get involved, contribute, and connect with the Classic Yacht Association Northern California Fleet. Whether someone owns a classic yacht, appreciates maritime history, enjoys yacht club events, or simply wants to support preservation, the new website provides a clear path to learn more.
Our News Section
This blog will serve as the official news section for the Northern California Fleet. Here, we will share fleet announcements, event recaps, member highlights, restoration stories, historical features, sponsor updates, and other news from around the classic yachting community.
Looking Ahead
The launch of the new website is an important step forward for the Classic Yacht Association Northern California Fleet. It allows us to better communicate with members, recognize our supporters, preserve our history, and welcome new people into the classic yacht community. As with any new platform, we recognize there may be some growing pains as the website continues to develop. Our goal is to continue improving the site over time so it becomes as seamless and useful as possible for our members, guests, sponsors, and visitors.
We invite members to explore the new website, follow along with fleet news, and provide feedback as we continue refining this online home for the Northern California Fleet. Together, we can use this platform to better celebrate classic yachts on San Francisco Bay, the Delta, and beyond.
